No validation whatsoever, but I've been hearing rumors that the Euroleagues are looking at GT. Could go either way.
If you haven't been on Twitter today, you should go read Naz's letter that he tweeted to Fred. Gives a pretty clear indication of how he feels about it.

Good sign for next year, players approaching this situation with much more maturity than some of our fans.
meh...you might find some different verbage going on in the weight room this summer. I'm glad that our guys are mature enough to do what they have to do and put on the face when the face needs to be put on.
Agree there has been much 'less than truthful' commenting on the exit. For me the frenzy started with Romar. Up to this point, it appears he has been the only guy who has not pulled punches.
That seems to be the way to go around here. But I said "might", so I left myself an out either way.
Not buying it. Hoiberg obviously has the respect of those kids, and the wishes look heartfelt to me. Otherwise, we'd see a few "congrats coach" tweets that would ring hollow.

I agree. If there's one positive we can take away from the situation at this point, it's that the current crop of Cyclones is a pretty awesome group of guys. Color me impressed.
Yeah, I would be ****** too if my position coach turned down a promotion to a coordinator position at my school so he could take the same position at another school. What? He wasn't offered the coordinator position at Iowa State? Yeah, I would still be ****** that he left to get a promotion. SMH

Of course they're not happy about it. Nobody is. That doesn't mean they can't be happy for him. I bet you're right though, Naz and Georges went out of their way to thank Fred on Twitter, instead of not saying anything, which would have been perfectly acceptable, because they secretly hate the man now. Seems plausible.
Even pretending that IS the case for a second, your statement makes even less sense to me. Are you saying that publicly showing support for someone that you are ****** off at is NOT a sign of maturity?
Players are here for 4 years max and get schollies. Fans spend a lot of money and have to deal with the bad years over a lifetime.
Now I have seen everything. This affects players much, much more than fans. If you can't see that you really need to grow up. Your pity/hate party is comical.
