How far can Iowa go?

Not Iowa fans on this thread trying to say the big ten west is any good this year.... lol

The Big10 is pretty loaded this year. 5 teams in the top 11 right now is crazy good. SEC has 2, Big12 1, Pac12 1, and ACC 0.

To make the championship game in that tough a league is crazy! Tougher than the SEC even up to this point.

How is it tough for Iowa to make the championship game in the Big Ten?
The East will beat them selves up all year, drop in the rankings while Iowa has 6 potential games against .500 teams and below to close out the season.

I guess take advantage of what is in front of you, but don't give me that its hard to make the Title game in the West.

People would be saying the same thing if Iowa State didn't have to play Oklahoma, Texas, Okie State and Baylor and then landed in the title game.

How is it tough for Iowa to make the championship game in the Big Ten? They play Penn State and none of the rest of the teams that are good in the East Division.

SEP could make the Big Ten title game going through the Big Ten West

One, Penn St. The same amount ISU will face (OU).
I always find it comical that ISU fans complain about strength of schedule when Iowa plays and beats them every year. Especially this year when ISU has their best team ever.

And how many other ranked teams does Iowa have to play in their division? You were alluding that Iowa would have to run the gauntlet of playing 4 teams in the top 11 to get to the CCG, when in fact ISU plays as tough or tougher conference schedule to get to the CCG.

I get your point to some extent but the Hawks are playing the highest rated team from the East. If the Hawks missed Penn St we'd hear ******** about that too. Hawks should definitely be favored against all of their opponents from the west but as I'd think you'd understand, it's never easy to play conference rivals week after week with a target on your back.
