They are doing exactly what they are supposed to do-beat anyone that is put in front of them. They can’t control who they play.
Got it, they have beat one ranked team without their starting QB and were being sh$t stomped before he was injured so they are deserving of being ranked #2
It's not their fault we suck and screwed up their strength of schedule. It was supposed to be a much better game.

I think people need to remember there is a reason these Qb's are getting hurt - iowa just keeps pounding them. There is nothing dirty, but when you are that physical, it takes its toll - 5/6 QB's against Iowa this year didn't finish the game. It reminds me of that dude from michigan the called shoelaces, who ran all over everybody until they played Iowa - and he didn't finish - I think it was Denard Robinson
When Iowa has forced the most turnovers in the country (not sure if they actually have, but you get my point) then perhaps those TOs weren’t just gifted
And not just this season, either. They've forced something like 80 turnovers in their last 67 games. It's not a fluke, even if the unit isn't dominant in the same way that Georgia's defense is. Iowa's defense is sort of like prime Kyle Hendricks: won't blow you away with stuff (high-end recruits or revolutionary schemes), but executes to perfection 95%+ of the time and teams just can't seem to figure them out. Georgia's defense is like 2015 Jake Arrieta: elite stuff, and they're just going to line up and mow you down like it's nothing; they know it, and you know it.

I still think the fact they are trotting out a qb that can’t throw a football eventually catches up to them. Might be awhile though, rest of the schedule is a bunch of high schools.
With this logic, he already orchestrated 3 scoring drives, 2 being TD’s. For every pick he threw, he would score a TD and we know Iowa’s offense can’t produce tea at that rate so no, Iowa wouldn’t have won even with that.

This is exactly it. Iowa’s defense is built to turn you over. It will give up yards if you are patient, and take the dump offs and short passes. The problem is even good college football teams can’t/won’t do that consistently for 60 min.
