You gotta think it's gunna be somewhat awkward tonight for the fans. I mean, I'm sure they appreciate their players, but there's really not one that is beloved, like they've had in the past.

They had RDM two years ago and Aaron White last year. Are Gessel and Woodbury on that level? Clemmons for sure isn't, Uthoff has the most accomplishments, but he's a transfer.

I dunno, gotta figure either Gessel or Woodbury get introduced last, or do they shun them and go with the thug transfer?

i don't know, gessel is the best point guard in the state and Woodbury has dunked twice in games....either one could be last.

To be fair Iowa has only fallen apart one time two years ago. In 2012 they finished strong winning 6 of 8 and going 1 and 1 in the BTT before advancing to the finals of the NIT. In 2014 Iowa won their last 6 and 8 of their last 10. This year isn't looking that good right now though, but still time to right the ship so the book hasn't been written yet.

I guess you're right. I was remembering the loss to Penn State in the BTT thinking that was a kind of a choke job. They did win the final 6 of the regular season, although the teams they beat were bottom feeders. I don't think the NIT season was close to the same. Definitely not in terms of pressure and expectations.

Anyway, it really doesn't shock me Fran feels the way he does about senior night. He's a whack job.

I know a lot of my grandparents friends are going tonight because they are worried they might not be around for another game. Should be crazy in there. Not many lines for the bathrooms either.

I checked whenever I typed that and you could get two tickets in seats in section FF and GG I believe (whatever is behind one of the hoops). There was another section that was down to singles that showed tickets available. I obviously didn't click on it to purchase them so maybe it was just on there as an error and I couldn't have bought them if I tried.

Well if we go according to CF: A sellout at Hilton/Jack Trice or anywhere not in IC= a sell out.

A sell out at Carver/Kinnick = nope no way its actually a sell out. Lol.
