I think I know more on the subject than most of the people that you talk to. As a grad student in Iowa's Tippie school, I have personal relationships with Gessel and Uthoff (two really likable guys, mind you) because I need to do tutoring as a part of my scholarships. Of course we talk about basketball, and they both told me they're confident in Wagner, the JUCO, and Moss, and think that Fleming and Hutton could go either way. I'll listen to my sources and you can listen to yours. I don't hate the Hawks, never claimed to either. Iowa City is too much fun for that nonsense.
Lol so Iowa brings in a class of 6 and two Hawkeye basketball players said they are confident in half of them and that means they have a lot of upside? I wonder what the players on the other 13 teams in the conference think of their recruits since those guys are better than Iowa's.
I'm not thrilled with the class. But if I had to lean one way or the other, I'd lean more towards happy than unhappy. There are a few interesting players in it that hopefully develop well to make it a solid class when looking back on it.
Time will tell, anyways. I remember thinking that Aaron White looked like a scrub when I saw they were in on his recruitment. He might be drafted.
If you think Iowa is a borderline top 25 program where do you rank ISU as a program? Top 15? Top 10?

Iowa has beaten isu about half the time in basketball over the last 15 years as well...
