hawk fb program headed to the bottom

Yeah... there are clearly no hawk fans worked up in this thread. Twilight made an account just for this thread.

You are welcome, chris.

You may also want to work on the idea of getting people worked up. The only ones I see getting worked up are ISU fans because you are embarrassing them.

Research on the fictional three guys at a party?

I am constantly amazed at the lack of comprehension skills on message boards.

I am guessing you are referring to your athletic background. If you have one, you would know only a loser talks crap to the team that beat him. End of story.

How are these 3 people fictional, whichever 3 you are specifically referring to? It appears to me that all 3 people must exist, or they wouldn't be posting here.

Your last two sentences makes no sense at all, in case you thought you threw something witty out there.

I am both bored yet intrigued on where you think this is going. Who is Chris, me or Twilight? Do you have a last name for Chris? Is it "Williams"?

Uh, you may need to go back and read again youngster.

Yeah, hawk fans are known for their fans and their revisionist history and the famous "should a, would a, and could a."

Makes sense.

I really do have a weird feeling that you used to post on another site that I was on until you got banned. Same mannerisms. Same method of going about things.

But anywho, this thread has really gotten off topic. Back to how ****** that Iowa team is!

No....I have never been banned from any site. If you don't curse or make slanderous comments about people, it's really hard to get banned from most sites.

Since I don't do those things, it really isn't a concern.

I had been following this thread. I check back after a day, and there are 10 more pages of some of the dumbest things I have ever read. Shame on me I guess. Seriously Williams, close this thread. It makes you look desperate for page hits...

Heh....hey, thanks guys...every once in a while, I start to think that maybe I should opt-in to the in-state rivals forum....

And then one of these threads sneaks its way out of the cave, and I'm reminded again of why I'm not opted-in.

So thanks, fellas, otherwise I might have made that mistake again.

This thread has been fantastic. The delusion. The ankle biting. The self reflection. What a trip.

No matter how bad Iowa is, as long as ISU is going 2-10, it'll always be viewed as an upset when you beat Iowa. Nobody outside of the state cares one way or another. But when objective audiences see that score flash across the screen and ISU edges us out, sorry, but they'll think upset. Because ISU is 2-10, and Iowa is playing in the Outback Bowl. Of course it doesn't make sense and isn't really the upset as they think. But you're pretty stupid if you think they're going to ponder the SOS of Iowa and the rigors of the Big 12 for ISU and discuss with their drinking buddies the realities of the situation. They're not. They've seen Iowa win Orange Bowls and they've seen our guys drafted in the first round and they've seen Iowa finish in the top 10 and beat SEC teams in bowl games and KF and so on. And ISU in football is barely an afterthought. Not saying it's right, just saying that's the perception. If you think anyone outside of Ames doesn't regard an ISU win over Iowa as an upset, you're kidding yourself. Not because they think Iowa is anything special, just because a lot of them think ISU is an FCS program.

That's what D UP and Mesa don't get.

This is pretty much fair. JHC, I hope we beat you guys again this year.

Wouldn't at all be surprised if you did. And once again, it'll probably look like a couple of toothless dogs trying to gum each other to death.
Dude, Iowa is going to brutally stink this year and so too will ISU. The two teams may not combine for bowl eligibility. This is a dumb thread.

This was a response to gonzo.

This demonstrates perfectly the inflated view Iowa fans have of themselves. Outside of the Hawkeye fan base most fans don't even know the difference between iowa and isu.

That's just how clueless you are. I'm sorry but that's the reality.

And when isu beats Iowa again this year. No one including Hawkeye fans will be one bit surprised.

It's what isu usually does to ferentz iowa teams.

And if you want to talk about perception... I already linked an article demonstrating the perception of the big ten as a horrible football league fearing mac opponents. That's the perception of the rest of the county.

You're like the mentally handicapped guy who doesn't know he's mentally handicapped. So he's perfectly content. Keep going with it.

ISU will not finish with a 2-10 record this coming season. Iowa played in the Taxslayer Bowl last year. That was mainly because the Big Ten has some excellent Bowl affiliations. Iowa's reputation as a good traveling Bowl team took a hit this past year. I believe they only sold about half their allotment. And have heard that Iowa Hawkeye football season ticket sales are struggling.

No one really cares about either program. And ISU winning more than half the time makes people not consider it to be an upset.

I think we sold less than half the bowl tickets. And I'm pretty sure season ticket sales are struggling. At least I hope they are.

The problem with your last point is that nobody outside the state of Iowa knows that ISU wins half the time. You really think people outside of our fanbases care enough about our series to remember who wins year to year?
