The biggest gift of that game was the one Brock let slip from his grasp as ISU was about to put the game in a stranglehold. Its a clear flaw that keeps rearing its head for Brock in big games. If he can stop turning it over, he might have a football career after school like Nate will.

The kid is given more freedom to let it rip than the 3 year starter Stanley ever was. Just goes to show which QB was trusted more by their coach. Wins? Last I checked, football was a team sport. Iowa has won a lot of games with average QB's in the past because they usually have a good defense.

Stanley wouldn't even be a top 5 QB at ISU, no matter what the stats say. He never had a season where he completed over 60% of his passes. He can't hit a deep ball to save his life. And he will probably never play in an NFL regular season game, because he is just not that good. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.
