Ever Get Anything Interesting In a Package from Amazon, Ebay, etc?

About a year ago, we got a sexy-time item out of the blue.

We had previously gotten an item that my sister in law had ordered for herself but had our address as delivery from Christmas, so thought it was something she had ordered. Nope.
You think she’s admitting it?

I won the Masters ticket lottery for 2020 - obviously didn't get to go thanks to COVID, but they did allow ticket holders to shop for merch online.

That was a big deal as they have only ever sold Masters gear at Augusta, so a few friends added onto my order and we ordered about $700 worth of clothes/collectibles. My box came a couple days later, and it was one women's quarter zip.

They eventually shipped the big order we actually paid for, but I laughed at the thought of some guy who ordered something nice for his wife getting in trouble when a huge box of guy stuff showed up. They never did make us send the quarter zip back, and our 2020 tickets (which got cancelled again in 2021) have been saved so we're scheduled to go this April.

No, but I did order a $20 item from Amazon and when I went to checkout, learned that it would cost me $30 to ship it. I wondered why so much until I found out it was being shipped from New Zealand. I canceled the order.

Wife ordered a nice sweater for my niece for Christmas this past year. We were worried that it wouldn't arrive on time. The package arrived but instead of the sweater it contained a size 3x used Mickey Mouse shirt. We had to scramble for niece's present.

Did it get delivered to a wrong address 1st and somebody swap you?

Ordered a computer keyboard (el-cheapo <10$) and received a CASE of 10. Called them up and they would not authorize return shipping but credited my account for the 9 un-ordered keyboards. Made for some cheap Xmas gifts that year. Lousy gifts but free.

I once got a hammock hanger that I did not order. Not a hammock, just the straps to wrap around the supports. Amazon told me to keep it.

Last year I ordered a couple spark plugs for my outboard and they sent me two boxes, 8 spark plugs in total.

One time I ordered a couple replacement headlights for the bike clubs shuttle bus and only one arrived. Turns out they were shipped separately, and after go round and round with the place that sold them, they refunded me for the other one, and I order it from someone else because I was so pissed. 6 months later the neighbor comes over with the headlight. They had delivered to the wrong address and he was getting around to bringing it over. Not the best neighbor.
