I don't follow the Aggie boards, but if they could only get 76,000 for a top 20 OSU game, this one may be much, much worse. Especially if trick or treating is held that night with a 2:30 kickoff.CA I am hearing 55-65,000 what about you?

So are we going to be tailgaiting in a ramp Iowa City style then?
My adviser has given me his 4 tickets. The K-State game has really seemed to take the wind out their sails (and sales).I am hearing this could ne a 60-70 k game. I could find tickets at face right now near the 40 up a few rows.
Take 69 North through Eastern Oklahoma, around Joplin and up 71 in MZ. Takes roughly 80 some miles off the trip. Much more scenic as well just make sure you do the speed limit in the little towns you go through.
Small town cops trying to make thier budgets!
Good info to know.
We'll be at the Ramada on Texas Ave. Fri and Sat night. Is everyone also staying Saturday?
We just got home from NE a little bit ago and I started to plant the seed about going down next weekend with the wife. I've even thrown out that the little guy(5) could wear his costume and I will pass out candy to everyone around us and he could trick or treat in the stands...
Flights from Cedar Rapids to Houston leaving Friday and returning Monday are $88 each way...
Just thought I would throw that out there if anyone is interested... Is there a better option to fly into somewhere else I should check???
bumping this for everyone going down this weekend.
For those driving: are you going straight through, or staying somewhere? We're leaving WDM at 5:30 Thursday night, and hoping to be in Dallas ahead of friday morning rush hour. We're relying on youth and caffeine to get through the night. Safe travles everyone!
So, do you have to do this sort of thing every time you leave the hotel? :biglaugh::no:
I know that, as college students on a road trip, you may have been looking for the best bargain on your accommodations, but I would recommend avoiding the Knight's Inn. If you have access to HAZ MAT suits, it may not be too bad.
There is a Hampton Inn and Marriott Fairfield in the same vicinity that you may want to look into.
You will find good tailgating in the lots just west of Kyle Field. As mentioned above, there is a pretty good chance you will be offered food and beverages as you wander through. However, there are also plenty of areas for you to set up and do your own thing.
