Cannot wait to see this game. Those of you driving... good luck, ive done the CS drive and the Austin drive in the past few years. Hope to see some of yall down there.

Current forecast for Saturday: Mostly Sunny, high near 77.

Go Cyclones!

Have a great trip!

Hey Guys,

Already posted this once but I'm still looking for a Cyclone fan who will be at the game that could be on our Texas A&M pregame show Saturday afternoon.

It's just a two minute segment called the "Two Minute Warning" where an Aggie fan and a Cyclone fan will answer some questions from one of our anchors about who will win.

Here is what it looked like for the last show before the Oklahoma State game:

KBTX Aggie Gameday

Click on Part 7 on the video player.

It would be at about 1:45 Saturday afternoon and our set is right next to Kyle Field.

Please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested or pass along my info if you know someone who is coming and doesn't read this forum.

Thank you!

I found a parking map on the Aggies website. Where is everyone planning to park?

http://transport.tamu.edu/specialevents/maps/sports/football/football.pdf

We're parking in the West Campus Garage, between Kyle and Reed. It's $22, but everyone on TexAgs said it's a great spot to launch a wandering expedition, which is our plan. If that doesn't work, we'll be shooting for the lots at the corner of Adriance (?) and Horticulture, just NW of that garage, and setting up.

I don't really care what the hotel room looks like. The only time I'll be sleeping in it, I'll be passing out from a long night of partying.

I know that, as college students on a road trip, you may have been looking for the best bargain on your accommodations, but I would recommend avoiding the Knight's Inn. If you have access to HAZ MAT suits, it may not be too bad.

There is a Hampton Inn and Marriott Fairfield in the same vicinity that you may want to look into.

You will find good tailgating in the lots just west of Kyle Field. As mentioned above, there is a pretty good chance you will be offered food and beverages as you wander through. However, there are also plenty of areas for you to set up and do your own thing.

I think we are doing the exact same thing. Leaving the same time and driving thru. We haven't made up our minds of stopping or not. 2 cars of 3 people in each, so we have drivers.
Are you taking the recommended short cut in this thread or taking 35?

We're taking 35. Figured it would be safer (less deer) at night, and we're picking my cousin up outside of Stillwater. He lives in Tulsa, which is closer to the shortcut, but there's a big truck stop west of Stillwater to leave his car.
