I'm not sure if it was him or not, but it astonishes me that there are still hawk fans who will defend how much Connor McCaffrey plays. It's not all of their fans, to be sure, but it's enough of them that I wonder if they're not watching the same game that the rest of us are.
I think Keegan Murray said something about how Jorbo and Connor will long be remembered for their contributions to Iowa basketball.
Jorbo, I get. He wasn't particularly good, but he accumulated a lot of stats, at least. But what did Connor ever do? His career stat line averaged 4 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 21 minutes per game. I don't understand how anyone could justify the amount of playing time he received during his career, let alone try to make the statement that his accomplishments were worthy of remembering for longer than about 10 minutes
