Don't rush the court....

Iowa State wins the game on a last second shot...

[Crowd erupts and then quietly heads for the exits because they were told on CF not to rush the court. All the while muttering 'pssh, been there.']

I want the students (and us old farts too) to be so emotionally charged up and involved in the game that we express it in whatever manner comes naturally to us. To me, there's nothing more silly than feigned nonchalance. We love our team, and we shouldn't EVER think it's "beneath us" to show it. If that means clapping and high-fiving in the stands until our hands fall off or running down to the court to celebrate with the team, so be it. :)

I think this is where I draw the line.

I think it's more powerful to send the message that it's no big deal. We are going to be the new KU in the Big 12. (I hope) To clear it up, not an old man, good try though.

The ISU team beating them consistently, sends a message. The fans should have no impact on that.

I saw my first games at the Old Armory.

I say if the students want to strip naked and rush the court, more twerking power to them!

Someone should make a sign that says "TAKE THAT RANDOGGER22", and rush the court regardless of outcome and make sure the sign is caught on camera.

This thread should be merged with the DO NOT RUSH THE COURT megathread that I was planning on bumping on Saturday. (well not quite mega yet).

Rush it....have some ******* fun.... Let's the students enjoy it.

Don't cheer. Act like you've been there before.

Exactly. Just look completely disinterested. Calmly pick up your belongings and head to your car in a slow cautious manner.
