Good job derailing the thread genius. In college i presume. As you clearly see above i said the thread was *******.
Dont know what Southern Baptist has to do anything. BU has nothing to do with them and neither do I[/QUOTE]
You may be entitled to your own OPINIONS . . .but you are not entitled to your own FACTS. Read and LEARN from BAYLOR'S own website:
Baylor University || About Baylor
Please, for your own good, don't pursue this rabbit any further. What you posted was proof that Baylor is Baptist, not Southern Baptist. Yes there's a difference. No you don't want that discussion started here. By the way the previous poster responded the the Southern Baptist thing, he's obviously on one side of the issue and discussing this further won't be fun I assure you.
As for Drew cheating, nobody has ANY proof and I find these threads hilarious. Also, Barnes might be respected in Ames but I assure you he's not in Waco. Heck, he may not be in Austin if he doesn't get things going in the right direction in a hurry. Of course he's going to hate Drew because Drew is doing a much better job of recruiting in a state that used to be 100% dominated by UT. Barnes would wine if any of the other Texas schools were beating him up on the court and the recruiting trail, too.
As for SMU and TCU being more logical for a DFW recruit, that's just dumb. Speaking of small fan-bases, give SMU a call. They averaged 23,515 people in attendance at their FOOTBALL games this year while in the middle of one of the largest cities in the country, not to mention the millions of people that live in Fort Worth and all the suburbs. Texas also cares about football far more than any other sport. SMU also averaged 1,970 people at their home basketball games last year. 1,970.
As for TCU's fan-base, they had a whopping 4,285 people per basketball game. These schools don't care at all about basketball and average far fewer fans than we do while being in major population centers. They're also in awful conferences, but that will be changing soon. This isn't even taking into account our facilities advantage...
Finally, ISU is my 2nd favorite Big 12 team after all the realignment stuff went down last summer. We need to have each other's backs, not be whining about each other. UT, OU, etc will always be the schools we need to keep in check. ISU shouldn't draw complaints from Baylor and likewise Baylor shouldn't draw them from ISU imo. Nobody else will look out for either of us, except for maybe the two from Kansas.
