I still think it's comical that people immediately dismiss any mid major coach all due to McDermott. If we're going off the bad experience of one coach, maybe we should only target people with zero coaching experience whatsoever.

Whoever we hire, as well, has a hell of a job in front of them for 2016-17 where we have some building to do. Hopefully our fanbase is forgiving towards TJ or Underwood or Prohm or Hunter or Lickliter or Brown or Self or whoever our coach is at the time.

I'm already sick and tired of this search and it's only been one day.

Just get it over with and promote TJ already and let's move forward. I haven't seen any other possible candidates talked about that I'd want over TJ yet, except for Hornacek, and he ain't coming here, sorry.

As I figured, no big name guys are banging down our door to come coach here, that should be obvious by now. Even as good as we've been, nobody knows who Iowa State is. TJ is the best candidate IMO, so just do it already and let's move on.
