Mark me down for Altman. Proven coach and recruiter. And the guy has a similar temperament to Fred it appears. Might be a very good fit. Excellent at the X's and O's. And knows what it takes to build a winner. Plus, with his experience and this team we could have a really special season. And I could see Altman keeping our staff that wants to stay.

Actually think this is a great hire. Has no question marks like any of the other candidates. Midwest roots. And even with all his experience, he will only be 57 years old in a few weeks.

I will say with the lawsuit currently against Dana Altman, he won't be the next head coach at Iowa State.
