Bulaga (sp?) out???

This is very likely a Fry inspired psychological ploy. I fully expect him to be starting on Saturday.

This could very well be.

People on the Hawk boards are hinting that it's not his knee, but some freak thing. Either way, it will be interesting to see this play out.

I thought Baluga was a type of whale...

I thought we were talking about sandwich meat at first. I was about to celebrate the thought of my wife making me a sandwich with something other then bologna.

But hey sucks for the Hawks I guess....

You mean like the statement Jesse Smith made?

exactly. The difference being that Jesse Smith is in a position to backup his own words and make them true, whereas you have no effect on the game whatsoever.

Gotcha. Well, nonetheless I am fairly certain Iowa St. will not hold Iowa below 20 points, let alone 7. Maybe I am overestimating this team in the fact that I believe they will make a huge improvement over last week. This game should show exactly what kind of season Iowa will have.

Iowa's entire O-Line could be out and Iowa would not lose this badly....

Dude, if Iowa's entire starting OL was out the Hawks would have 200 total yards maximum. They couldn't get any rhythm on offense and the ISU offense would own time of possession big time, eventually wearing down Iowa's defense. 30-7 would be about right, and maybe a little kind to the Hawks.

I think 30-7 would be the least of the Hawkeye's troubles at that point.
