Bulaga (sp?) out???

In the minds of hawk fans he is the best. To everyone else he is just overrated and his stock is inflated due to the ranting of the jihadic wing of hawk fans.

Like Hawk fans have the ability to inflate any player's stock within the mindset of the national media. I wish we had that power...but we all know that's not true. Nice try.

I think it's fair to say that Bulaga still has a little ways to go to be considered elite. It's not like he earned All-American honors or anything last year. But the potential is there.

Regardless, it's not "everyone else" who thinks he is overrated. It's you. Which says a lot.

I'm not going to believe any internet rumors until its confirmed from a coach's mouth or I don't see him on the field on Saturday. Too much of a chance that this is just some Hock fan sitting back in his chair in his mom's basement spreading rumors on messageboards.

Would you like me to continue to prove my point?

I personally can't think of anything that I would rather happen at this point in time than for you to continue to prove your point. Please, continue.

This sucks. Our OL hasn't had a chance to live up to its potential yet. At least a few more weeks till big ten.

We ought to be able to hold up against you guys, at least.

I will agree this does suck. We want both teams to be at full strength. If Iowa or ISU has people out it takes away from the game. With this OL out it adds more pressure to ISU. If we can't beat the replacements we will hear that we couldn't even beat Iowa's skeleton crew.

This is very likely a Fry inspired psychological ploy. I fully expect him to be starting on Saturday.

Regardless of Bulaga's status excuses will happen if we win the game.

You could say the same for your side as well.

Back to the original topic, the tone on the HR seems to be that he didn't practice this week, but should be good to go on Saturday. Seeing as how Iowa lets out information at the pace of the Kremlin, I can't imagine anyone knowing anything until Iowa's offense takes the field.

But really, with the luck Iowa has had with injuries up to this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the team bus flipped off the Hwy 30 overpass tomorrow.

Except for the fact that you frequent this site can you name someone on our line? Of course you can because you spend more time over here than anywhere else.

Reggie Stepens? Bulaga was a 1st team all conference left tackle as a sophomore, and was projected by some as a first day draft pick last year.

So yeah, I'm willing to bet that Cyclone fans know who he is.
