Breaking news - Tebow to skip SR. year.

Just for the record, I didn't write it, it came from another board. Sad thing is that the Tebow love fest on ESPN will only get worse next year when the SEC and ESPN TV deal kicks in.

Hope he has a Real Big Insurance policy.

I, for one, am not surprised that Mr. Tebow is leaving Gatorland. I'm startled that he's going directly to Paradise, without having savored the NFL, but I'm sure he saw the handwriting on the wall. If it's true that Coach Mac was seen on the ISU campus recently and will soon be named Defensive Co-Ordinator of the Universe for the Cyclones, what hope do the Gators have of a successful season? He's getting out while the gettings' good.

So on page 6 and I'm still not sure; will Tebow coming again to judge the living and the dead??
I know espn thinks he got that walking on water thing figured out.

What. This thread was the epitomy of a great thread and renewed my faith in the human spirit. It started with a funny story and an instant condemnation by some one who lacked any sense of humor whatsoever. That person was then brow beat (rightfully so). The very best part is finding out I'm not the only one that loves guys like Dungy and Dunn but absolutely can't stand something about the whole Tebow the Great thing he has going on. Yes it is the media, but is also the way he does it because Dungy and Dunn don't rub me wrong at all. I would gouge my eyes out if I had to see him TAKE OFF HIS HELMET everytime he could and run around and pump his arms. He's lame.

The post with the "gay" comment was just a cherry on top. The out of left field wack comment that makes you laugh and scratch your head.

MIAMI (SP) -- Shortly after leading the Florida Gators to a national
championship with a 24-14 win over Oklahoma, junior quarterback Tim
Tebow announced that he would skip his senior season and ascend
directly into heaven.

Tebow entered the press room to wild applause. A reporter for a 24-
hour cable sports network burst into tears when the 2007 Heisman
winner entered the room. Another threw a pair of boxer shorts on the
podium. Tebow smiled at the gesture and several sports reporters
fainted.

"Sorry I'm late," Tebow began. "There was a six-year-old boy with
cancer in row 54 and I had to make my way through the crowd to heal
him."

"I want to start by saying that playing quarterback for the University
of Florida, winning two national championships, has been a great
honor. There has been some speculation about my future and I want to
clear that up right now," he continued.

"Don't go, Tim!" a reporter shouted from the back of the room.
"After much consideration, I have decided to skip my senior season at
the University of Florida and ascend directly into Heaven," Tebow
announced. Upon making the announcement, Tebow was bathed in a
blinding white light and vanished.

In response to the news, ESPN announced they will have a month-long
tribute to Tebow. ESPN2 will now be known as ESPN-TEBOW and will
feature Tebow highlights (including home videos of Tebow's childhood),
re-airings of past interviews, Tebow-centric analysis by ESPN air
personalities, a Tebow quiz show and a reality show to find the "most
Tebow-like" person in America.

"He wasn't just the greatest player in college football history," said
a college football writer at the press conference, tears streaming
down his face. "He might have been the greatest person to ever walk on
earth."

What's wrong with you.

congratulations, garn91, you have made my ignore list.

What's wrong with you.

congratulations, garn91, you have made my ignore list.

Congratulation cyismydog - you missed all the posts about it mocking the press and the fact garn91 didn't write it. Ohh, you also missed the post of people making fun of those that announce their ignore list.

I have no issue with those who didn't think it was funny (even though I did). That's fine. Everyone's sense of humor is different.

For those of you who think it was disgusting and have put garn on ignore, though -- enjoy living in your bubble.
