I will tell you why I hate him. Same reason I hate Notre Damn, Ohio State, Michigan, Iowa and the rest. Because l just can't stand them.
success? media coverage? I don't see any reason to hate the person, or the school for that matter...
Personally, I don't "hate" Tim, he's a helluva football player. My problem is the love fest that ESPN has for him and the fact said network makes him out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.
I love Tebow. I'm a Christian and I really respect the way he goes about his business on and off the field. I just think it's funny because of the way the media covers him, not because I don't like him.
I'll never forget when one of the guys calling the NC game remarked after one of his interceptions, "That could be the first mistake that young man ever made". I might be off on a word or two, but the color guy said that.
One thing about the media, they take it too far when it's something good and too far when it's something bad. It's what they do.
Without Hate football and basketball are just not as good. I also Hate K-State and Jeff Moe for the record.
Another case where the English language and genetics failed someone miserably.

I find that stuff to be very funny. But I have no problem with Tim Tebow being who he wants to be! Good for him! Unfortunately our society likes to mock people or tear people down who seem to be on-top of the world!
I think Tebow is a good person, and a good athlete...that being said I thought it was hilarious...Sam Bradford won the Heisman this season, and will likely be the first or second qb taken in the NFL draft with Stafford from Georgia-but you would've thought it was just another Joe Schmoe playing qb for Oklahoma from the attention put on Tebow leading up to the National Title and during the game (which was up for grabs until the final few minutes)...that being said...I'd love to be in Tebow's shoes (qb for Florida, get any girl I wanted, make a lotta money after college, be CONSTANTLY praised by the media like no other)...and because of those reasons, I'm not gonna feel too bad for the guy because people crack a few jokes at the media's obsession with him.
So... what's it like to have absolutely no sense of humor?
Also, why do people feel the need to make an announcement when adding someone to their 'ignore' list? Reminds me of a 3rd grader plugging their ears and yelling "LA LA LA LA" really loudly when they're "ignoring" somebody.
I don't hate Tebow. I don't think you can truly hate someone you don't know. I do dislike the way he presents himself to the media. There is just something I find extremely phony.
Tony Dungy is receiving great praise as a coach and as a man--praise similar to Tebow. I happen to like Dungy. The reason I like Dungy is because when he talks, I feel it is genuine and not a written ****** he is reading. I feel like Tebow is just saying the right things because he knows the reputation that has been given to him by the media. It is all just a little over the top. He just comes off as a politician to me. I may be reading him wrong but that is what it seems like when he is being interviewed.
