I've always wondered what this process is like. It seems quite complicated and likely to take some smokey backroom dealing to make it come together. Do they have all the bowl people in one place?

Is there an order in which they make their picks (other than the order of preference within a conference)?

Unfortunately, in the world of college football, it often seems that the "did you watch any football this season" portion is left out...
