There are too many scenarios that put Michigan in the top 14. I am not counting on that at all. We need Texas to win big so the Alamo takes Texas and not Baylor.
All of the discussion about Michigan should begin to settle down, although there is still a chance (very small) the potential Michigan in BCS took a large hit with them already dropping to #16 this week. Baylor will pass them up barring a win there and even with a Georgia loss I don't see them dropping so much as to fall below Michigan, seeing as they are going to lose to a #1 team.
Good analysis. I honestly see this happening. Baylor's offense is too much for Texas, OSU has no defense, and LSU is a machine. I'm seriously beginning to believe Michigan wont make it.

Nat'l Champ: LSU vs. Bama
Orange: WVU vs. VaTech
Sugar: Michigan vs. Houston
Fiesta: Okie State vs. Stanford
Rose: Wisconsin vs. Oregon
Also said if Michigan does not crack the Top 14, the projection would change to Kansas State.

Not really. If LSU beats Georgia, they will move up 2 spots, passing Georgia and the loser of the Big 10 championship game (who are currently 13 and 15). Michigan will be #14 come next Sunday, bet on it. They are one of the sacred cow big money programs. No way the "barely" get left out. Some how, some way, they will be in the top 14.
Not sure you penalize Wisky or MSU for losing in a championship game. I don't think Michigan's chances of moving up are a guarantee by any stretch.
If BU beats Texas I really think the Big 12 gets two into the BCS. This is assuming KSU beats ISU (sorry) and hoping, but not needing, OU to beat OSU.
You think that a #14 Georgia losing to #1 LSU should drop them more than 4 spots in the polls (6 spots for Harris)? The computers are going to have Georgia ahead of Michigan regardless of outcome, so Michigan is going to have to pass them in both the Harris and Coaches poll...

The Big Ten has 1 BCS, 3 against the SEC, 2 against the Big 12, 1 against the MAC and 1 against CUSA.

I'd much rather beat KSU, have Mich make a BCS bowl and have Texas squash Baylor. That should put us in the Holiday.

All of those are tougher than their conference games.
Yes I do. The only way I think they don't is if Georgia were to lose close, say in overtime. If the game isn't a last minute thriller, then I think it's as good as done. Michigan is a media darling, and at 10-2 I'll be stunned if they don't move up to the top 14.
Beating KSU is priority #1 for me. After that, let the chips fall where they may I guess.
They definitely have a chance to. It is far from a guarantee but it helps they are playing a ranked opponent this weekend.
If the Big 10 gets two into the BCS I will throw something. SEC has 4 teams in the top 12 of the BCS, Big 12 has 3 teams in the top 12... Big Ten has none.
