You could argue we have nobody to drive the ball to kick it.
We dont have much of anything.... so why not just take the best talent overall??

I completely agree. Hopefully if Barnes commits he's good enough at the other things that we can get him on the floor to shoot it.

But i do know the robots that rip Eik are nuts. I would say he was exactly what this team needed this season. He was a guy that could come in and nail 2 or 3 straight threes in a row. Some must of forgot how smooth and what a decent ball handler he was, just needed to add more muscle. I still say Mac should try to get Dykstra, that was a big loss too imo. I realize like Eik, he needed more meat on his bones and didn't particulary want to put in the hrs, but seeing him in both state championship games he has big time potential.

Exactly. These kids today, I tell ya. If some rating site gives you a number, how is that taken as gold?

While rankings aren't gold....they are right 90% more than they are wrong. It's not a coincidence that the teams that win national titles do it with the highest rated classes....and the teams that finish last in their conference, finish low in recruiting ratings as well.
You can find a rare case like Wesley and Gilstrap every now and then, but with AAU ball now a days, there aren't as many sleepers as there use to be
You're right...Loren Meyer, Raef Lafrenz, Jordan Egelseder, Jess Settles, Nick Collison (2A), and Klay Edwards had no business playing big time college basketball...

He has a slow shot idk if that will hurt him, but it could. People say he has range, but thats bc he has a slow shot... I didnt see him hit the 3 with a guy in his face who could tell the flavor of his gum he was so close...thats how BIG12 teams play D, so im not sure he will be a gr8 player could b wrong but thats how I see it.
