I saw Lucca do it twice in the same game against a talented Texas team. A lot different than doing it at the high school level. I'm not saying that Barnes isn't a good recruit, just that there is zero in that video that shows he is any better of an athlete than Lucca.
 
Long arms and decent elevation on his shot. It appears he can hit the three while being guarded. Something we've lacked. I like him, hope we can land him.

He shot off the dribble twice in what looks like a pick up game. I guarantee you Lucca can do that as well. As I said in the post above, Lucca did that against Texas twice.

Bo could end up being the greatest athlete on the planet but there is nothing in those videos to suggest that. Or that he is any better than Lucca

and i spose lucca could hit that fade away from the corner with a hand in his face, doubtful.

That's one shot. How many times has he shot it? It's a highlight film. Maybe he's 1/13 on fade-aways in the corner, so they put the one that he made in. Seriously, there's nothing that absolutely jumps out about this guy in this video. I'm not trying to be a pessimist, I'm just not overly optimistic about this guy in particular. Normally, I am.

In a high school or pick up game? Sure he could. You are absolutely crazy if you don't think he could. I know we as ISU fans have to hate all things Lucca, but I can admit what the guy was.
 
You have to be athletic to catch a cow and rope it (see Ames police yesterday), and to ride a damn cow too! He's a cowboy rodeo dude I read in an article that was in Chris' recruit thread yesterday. Lucca couldn't rope a cow.

Who is being negative? Me for saying the videos don't show what they are saying? Other posters for saying that Lucca sucks essentially? Just a disagreement but I don't see where you are coming from
 
He's a gonna be a college freshman? i didn't know recruiting 4 year players was in the vocabulary of iowa state mens basketball recruiting...im honestly shocked :eek::jimlad:
