Bo Barnes recruit

Saw a little bit of hype on a couple other threads and i can see why, here are a couple videos of him. He can shoot.

Just keep in mind he's not playing against B12 talent in these videos. The speed of the game would be much faster, so I'm sure Bo Barnes would/will look slower against them. Obviously he has a pretty good shot, but how good is he defensively? Looks pretty similar to Staiger to me.

Where are you guys seeing this athleticism? He may have it but neither of those videos showed anything but a good jump shooter (which we need). I don't see that kid and think "athletic version of Lucca"

I think aggression is the right word to use..He just moves alot better then Lucca

I don't think he's very athletic, I just think he looks like a more complete player than Lucca. In video #2 he put the ball on the floor, drove, and pulled up for about a 16 foot jumper. After seeing Lucca stand around outside the 3 point line for 1.5 years, that was refreshing to see.

I certainly don't think this guy is athletic enough to start in the Big 12. I do think he could be a valuable player off the bench, just like Lucca should have been.

He has a good looking stroke, but it's really hard to tell much from 7 minutes worth of video. I would imagine about any kid in the nation could put together 5 minutes worth of highlights that make them look like a great player. That being said, his shot looks very nice and I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him.

How many times did you see Lucca shoot off the dribble? I dont' kow if he will be any good at D1 but I see him put the ball on the floor and shoot, something Lucca rarely could do.
