It’s hard to beat a team in conference 3 times. I was hoping we’d draw TCU. Out of the lot of em’ they are way overrated and vulnerable from here on out I believe.

Now official regardless of further Big 12 results today. We will play Baylor again at 11:30 am on Thursday in the #4 vs. #5 game.

but...it would be the same thing...we've beat them twice just like Baylor. Baylor's defense is not like TCU's. We are 4-0 against those schools. Bring on the Bears.

This isn't true. Every time this comes up someone shows the stats that say if you beat a team twice, more times then not you beat them a 3rd time.

Better chance of picking up some momentum against OU than Baylor/Kstate.
And I'm going regardless, much easier to get a courtside ticket for a Wednesday night game than a Thursday quarterfinal.

Most years that would be the case - but you cannot make that argument this year. OU is in last place and on the freaking bubble to make the NCAA Tournament. And, I know I have the convenience of posting on Saturday and you posted this on Thursday, but we swept Baylor this year - and just pounded them on the road. Meanwhile, we just got done losing to OU at home. Nothing about this Big 12 season makes sense. As such, give me the easiest route to the championship game.

I was leaning Wednesday to maybe get beat and give the team a good break but if they win Thursday I guess they might as well win the whole ******* thing.

LOL this tried and true 'revenge' reasoning makes me laugh every damn time. You think Baylor fans are sitting there saying 'hell yeah...we get to face the team that beat us by 15 twice this season...that's a win for sure!'
And the "hard to beat a team three times" narrative is made up. I was listening to a podcast and they said it actualIy it's a lot more probable the 2-0 team beats the 0-2 team.

To do so, we'd have to probably beat 3 straight top 10 teams.. That would be insane

I do think we can beat Baylor for the 3rd time but hope we bring the same intensity Thursday as we had today because I do think we will get a better version Baylor team on that day. Have a feeling they might have overlooked us a bit today after the bad stretch we had been on. Don't think that will happen in the next game.

The way the year has unfolded I prefer they be in the bracket with Baylor and KU than one that has anything to do with WVU, Okie State or Texas Tech.

Odd feeling.

Does anyone have the TV channel breakdown for all of the Big 12 tourney games (not just ours). I think we're on the ESPN family of networks but can't remember if Wed and Thur are ESPN+ or not
