What was the year that we beat OU on Thursday then lost to KU on Friday? 12/13?
Yep, 2012-13. Clyburn, Ejim, Lucious, Chris Babb, freshman Niang

We had to comeback to win. Ended up getting a 10 seed in the big dance.

I took off from work early that day and had just set up my basement to be a little man cave with a bar and TV.

I brought my dog down to watch the game with me (so I wasn't drinking by myself, naturally) and I was yelling and making such a ruckus that after the game I couldn't find him. After frantically searching the house, I found him cowering under our bed upstairs.

He refused to watch sports with me for the rest of his life.

There is something about postseason basketball, even conference tournaments, that inspires a special kind of anxiety. I've had neighbors and roommates run to my door because they thought there was an emergency. Nope, just watching basketball.

I've gotten a lot better/more detached from sports as I've gotten older, but I think basketball itself breeds that kind of anxiety. Things change so quickly that it can be dizzying. In 5 seconds you can go from joy to rage and back, and that can happen over an entire game.

Football is generally a slower pace, and major turns unfold over a greater period of time. It builds to a more dramatic climax, but the ride isn't usually as moody.

Well now it's officially Thursday game. I kinda don't want to be the 5 seed and play Baylor again. Rather be the 6 and play KSt.

Please give me the 6 seed. Hate the 11am tip plus sitting with Kansas fans for an hour.

With OU up big on TCU currently looks like we will be playing Baylor again early on Thursday.

And they will be out for some big time revenge on us too.

Maybe rest would be good for the NCAA’s though too?

What if texas wins or loses? Baylor still the 4th seed? Kinda surprised TCU losing, but should I be in this league? No!

I think we match up with them really well. Tough to beat someone back to back, but Baylor is probably as good of matchup for us as anyone. Besides, there's not an easy game in that whole tournament. It is going to be unreal.

Talked about that happening this morning assuming we would lose today and it would be us against Baylor back to back games as a 3 vs. 6. Who'd da thunk a 4 vs. 5 game. What kind of reward is that after such a great game today? But, playing Hunter again would just have been so tiresome too, tho. Still better than playing in that Wed. night morgue environment game.

LOL this tried and true 'revenge' reasoning makes me laugh every damn time. You think Baylor fans are sitting there saying 'hell yeah...we get to face the team that beat us by 15 twice this season...that's a win for sure!'
