Big 12 Embarrassing

Once again the Big 12 getting completely embarrassed this Bowl season. Year after year this seems to be the case.

And no this isn't a troll job, it's just annoying that it happens year after year. It gives little credibility to the conference. The most frustrating part is what's Iowa State's excuse for sucking so bad during conference play against teams that really aren't that good on a national level. As much as I couldn't stand Paul Rhoads being the coach there's no way he was solely to blame.

Nice troll attempt. How many times have you fapped to the hawks being in the Rose bowl today?

Other than the sec west the rest of the conferences play watered down league schedules that give them weeks off during the year.

The big twelve plays a much tougher regular season schedule and it's not close. I said it last year and I will say it again. That takes a toll on all the teams. Look at tcu and baylor. Injuries all over the field.

It's much easier taken a rested team with one tough game in a championship game into the post season.

OU lost to the #1 team in the Nation and Texas Tech lost to LSU. Baylor won a game they really had no business winning with the injuries they had. Oh, and there is still 4 games left, none of which look difficult to win. Is there a Clonie for most premature thread of the year?

The level of variability in the performance in a single game of a single team, is much much higher than the overall level of "good" in any league overall. So bowl games are a lousy way to determine which conferences are better.

Earlier point about Baylor >>> NC, yet Clemson >> OU. The fact is Baylor played tough yesterday and Clemson did today. And that's much bigger impact than if the ACC >> Big12 or vice versa.

You simply can't really make broad sweeping statements about conferences based on a handful of one-off bowl games.

Well, Tech vs LSU wasn't an even draw.

Baylor rushed for 600+ yards with a 5th string QB at the realm.

And OU lost to possibly the eventual champion.

What exactly is the issue?

Are we still rooting for the B12? Trying to increase our strength of schedule?

I'm just glad we finally have a head coach that wants to be physical on both sides of the ball instead of trying to out-finesse other Big 12 teams.

Big 12 teams are too soft, and that is how you beat them. Just look at tonight's game with OU and Clemson. OU looked like the more athletic, faster team out of the gate, but Clemson was more physical and wore them down by the 2nd half.

It seems to be pretty accurate that the Big 12 just doesn't play defense. Clemson ran for n

early 300 yards on OU. I'm kinda sick of the Big 12 being just these super fast, no defense teams.

What? No games played yet, but next year we know we are going to be physical on both sides of the ball. That is standard coach speak. We've heard this before. I don't think I've ever heard our coaches say we are going to out finesse other teams.

If you think Clemson is eventual National Championship then that tells me all I need to know about you.
