Who do you pick as your top Rock vocalist? Mick Jagger? Tina Turner? Both of those are Octogenarians! Any new voices? One of my top picks the deceased Scott Weiland of STP is "newer" but not recent. Another is the old Tool singer Maynard James Keenan, now of Puscifer. I have to add the best commercial voice is one that at first listen seems average but has moved a mountain of music-Phill Collins and he's on my list.

Who you got?

Jonathan Davis has amazing range.

Cornell is good.

Billy Corgan is probably underrated.

The worst I’ve ever heard is Rob Thomas in person. He was in DSM 10-15 years ago on his solo tour and was ******* rubbish.

Billy Corgan makes me want to stab myself in the face with a screwdriver. Gross.

Prince's work on "Kiss" borders on unbelievable. He really shows off his range in that song.

Sammy Hagar's "Dreams" is fantastic.

Lou Gramm on "Juke Box Hero."

Michael Jackson's studio work was always flawless.

Joe Cocker's voice oozed emotion; sounds like he's always on the verge of an aneurism.

Not a big fan of Rihanna's music, but I think her vocals are quite sultry.

The best live vocal performance that I've seen was Kevin Martin from Candlebox about ten years ago. Insane. He's great on recordings and all but it was so much better live. I don't generally expect that.
