I think both UNI and Ball St probably have better defenses than ISU. However ISU will be the best offense Iowa has seen so I think this will be a higher scoring game. Iowa has a better defense then ISU and gets a few more stops which allows them to win a close game.

Not sure how? I actually believe that. Did you watch Iowa play yesterday? They are not very good. If ISU plays like they did against KSU I think we win outright. If given points....easy money.

They are already out of the National Championship. Iowa could now go undefeated and they won't get into the playoff. Not with barely beating UNI and Ball State on your home field.

That won't get you in, especially with Iowa's pathetic schedule, which took an even bigger hit today with Purdue getting smoked by Central Michigan and Northwestern losing to Northern Illinois. Also, turns out Nebraska is complete garbage too.

And I think ISU can win now next week, although I would have felt a lot better about it if Iowa had lost today. Coming back to win that game will at least give them a bit of confidence they wouldn't have otherwise had.

The good news for ISU, both teams we have played this year are superior to what Iowa has faced. Playing better competition hopefully will help us.

NDSU and KSU both would beat IOWA.

Yep, when I think of elite defenses I think of Ball St.

ISU offense scored 21 yesterday that isn't going to be enough because yeah the Iowa offense struggled yesterday but I think they will put up more then that against the ISU defense. They aren't as bad as they looked yesterday.

This is confusing - our D is much better than Ball State's, Iowa "sucks bad," but you're afraid to predict an ISU win? I don't get it.
I think we should win, as revenge for last year, plus Iowa is very mediocre.

Yeah. I was thinking about it, and in a normal progression, you would think year 5 or 6 would be break out years for a coaching staff. Mac had his break out year in year 6. It must be the attrition that is killing us. I should go back and look at the last 5 recruiting classes and see how many guys are busts and/or are no longer here.
