I saw a lot of positives from the game today. Let's take this on the road and get the W in Iowa City!

Jesus....reallly? So soon? And we wonder why they think this is our super bowl. Not sure what is more pathetic, this thread, or our 2nd half offensive performance. How about score....at all...in the second half...ever....

They expended a ton of emotional energy today only to come up empty. I hope they can keep fighting but I'm a little worried about playing in Kinnick after a loss like that.

I hope our team has a short memory, this thread is a good thing. Please go away.

I agree with the above poster about KSU being an emotional game. I don't know how ISU will react to getting on another emotional high right away. I imagine ISU must be drained right now - fortunately for ISU the Hawks don't look too good at the end of the 1st quarter. Hope for a great game next week!

God forbid the OP cheers for his team to beat the other D1 school in the state. Go Cyclones!

Ha, not two seconds after Paul jabs EIU for looking towards that 10-12 start and national championship, they give up a fumble recovery for a touchdown and are losing 7-0.

In case you're not watching, Ball State just got a fumble return for a touchdown and Scherff had to be assisted off the field, not walking on one leg. BSU leads 7-0.

Even worse for Iowa, Brandon Scherff was helped off the field after that play with what looks like a knee injury.

edit: His knee brace is off and he is headed in to the locker room under his own power.

Don't know much about IA but if they look like this next week, the game has all the makings of the 1999 matchup, when two bad teams played until the game finally ended.

Similar to 2012 I suppose...like pulling teeth.

Was gonna post about how Okie State doesn't look great but I think they're gonna win by 40ish.
