.

Rogers is still a top talent but his body language was not good last night. Seemed like an extension of last season when some Pack writers were starting to question if he was acting like a spoiled brat.

I think he's basically a perfectionist and comes off as very self conscious. These can be good traits, but being too rigid can lead to problems imo.

I don't agree with all of the Rodgers and OL hate.

Rodgers didn't have his best game, but the vikings defense is excellent and had a big part in that. They have an excellent secondary and linebackers. Most of the sacks were due to WR's not getting open and Rodgers not getting rid of the ball(because he didn't have a place to). The line can only hold up so long.

I think Bradford will regress back to his mean and Rodgers will progress back to his mean, and the Packers will be just fine.

We definitely missed Sam Shields and Teddy B, though.

I have no idea who you are a fan of after reading that

He's always been a whiny spoiled brat, just not pointed out when he wins.

Guard Alex Boone gave fans a helpful reminder to keep it quiet when Minnesota has the ball.

“[The crowd noise] was great when the defense was up, it was phenomenal,” Boone said. “When the offense is up, just shut up. I can’t say it any simpler than that. It’s starting to screw us up a little bit.

“It’s loud, for some reason, in the stadium. There’s a lot of times where we can’t hear the center. We could barely hear the snap count today a couple times—a couple false starts, because guys wouldn’t know when the snap was going. I’m not saying it’s the fans’ fault, but I’m just saying, it would be nice if they would shut the **** up a little bit.”

Sounds like a torn meniscus maybe for Peterson? That would seem like he would be back at least at some point. Wasn't Metta World Peace back in ten days? Although Roger Federer seems to have been bothered by his for months. I suppose the extent of it can differ.

One big thing that hasn't been mentioned (at least I don't think it has), is that the special teams did great for the Vikings. Locke's gotten some hate in the past, but he played a great game. The Packers had long fields all night long.

yeah, special teams were solid last night, with the exception of the partially blocked punt.

That defense tho. I've had some time to process it now, and damn that was an impressive performance, to hold Rodgers and the Pack the way they did. And to do it while down two starters as well? Can't give those guys enough credit.

I forgot about the blocked punt. Guess I blocked it out of- no? okay.

But yes, I'm very impressed with our d. I was expecting a top 5 defense and they're living up to expectations so far. And it's been mentioned already that we're not even at full strength yet.

Yeah, I hope they figure that out. I am glad to say, however, that is seems like U.S. Bank Stadium will get noisy. There was some concern before it opened, that the acoustics wouldn't be as good as the Metrodome, which was notoriously loud. Hopefully the crowd can learn to shut up when the Vikings have the offense, going forward, and go crazy when they're on defense.

Boone could be a lot less of a douche when it comes to making those comments, especially to his own fans. Too bad our ability to be quiet doesn't have any effect on the abysmal play of him and the rest of the line.

probably, but I don't think there's much of a filter with him. It's a pretty minor thing, though. If you're taking offense at that, you're probably trying too hard.

That blocked punt was followed up with Terrance Newman's two PI calls so the Pack had about a 54 yard drive of which about 7 yards was actually gained by the offense.

We knew going into it that he has a tendency to show douchey behavior off of the field. I just hope his contributions to the line make up for them.

Disagree that losing their best player wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen to them.
McKinnon and Asiata are capable. They did well 2 years ago when AP was out. Besides, he was averaging less than 2 yards per carry anyways because the o-line sucks.
As someone else mentioned, the Packers barely beat Jacksonville, nowhere near as good as they were a few years ago. I expect Vikings fans will be taken back down to earth in the next few weeks.

They can build a football palace, but they can't get the helmets to be the same color as the jerseys ...not even close

It's gotta be something with the lighting. They were perfect last couple seasons outdoors after years of mismatched tones in the Dome.
