***2024 Minnesota Vikings***

Dec 17th in Cincinnati, does not sound terribly warm, Mr Goessling.
The average high temperature on Dec 17 in Cincinnati from 2015-2022 was 41.63 degrees. The high temperature ranged from 34 to 54

So the odds are favorable the game will be above freezing

The stadium isn't as important as the atmosphere around the stadium. Was by far the coolest Vikes game I have been to in Lambeau.
Just like ISU. Great atmosphere outside the stadium, bench seats inside.

I expect Cook to be next.
Agreed. There's almost no way he's on the roster on opening day. They re-signed Mattison. They drafted McBride. And they like both Chandler and Kene. I honestly wouldn't be that surprised if they cut even another RB after Cook is gone. I'm hoping Kene's return ability keeps his roster spot safe, but you never know.

They keep talking about the possibility of restructuring Cook but I don't see how you do that after resigning Mattison. Can't keep both of them. Trade Mattison? Don't think that happens.

Not sure how I feel about Mattison being the #1 back. Dude has been on my ess list since he missed the hole and lost the game against the Seahawks.

It’s official.

I’m happy with even a little more draft capital next year.

Most talking heads give the Vikings a B grade for what they feel was a so-so return. But for guy that had already announced he wouldn’t return, not sure how much production the Vikings would have gotten out of Smith. I’ll take the two 5th rounders and move on.

I’m okay with Mattison being #1 for this upcoming season. Let him try and prove himself. If he doesn’t produce #1 kind of numbers, we can always go another direction. Running backs just aren’t as valued as they use to be(unless you’re McCaffery or Henry).
