***2024 Minnesota Vikings***

The word I've heard on Hall is that when he had a clean pocket, his performance was elite, like top 5 in the country. And he did it with a very young and inexperienced wr corps. But when he faced pressure, there was a big dropoff, which is expected with all quarterbacks, but his dropoff was larger than most.
I'm under no illusions that he's going to be the long term replacement for Cousins, but he has enough raw materials to be intriguing, and with some coaching, who knows?
Agree and hopefully two bookend tackles, the best WR in football, and a top 5 TE in the game will help the future QB in Minnesota...

And theoretically better coaching. In general, I'd assume the quality of NFL coaches is better than the quality of college coaches. If the BYU coaches weren't great at teaching how to handle things under pressure, maybe he has the capacity to learn with some better coaching.

Its a long shot, but I've seen lots of comparisons to Purdy and Russell Wilson. Very similar to both in college, although not quite as accurate (although still very good). He also improved a ton between his junior and senior season, so he probably has room to improve. Seems like he's highly intelligent, processes data well, anticipates throws and throws a great deep ball (like Wilson, not Purdy).

I have a feeling that the coaches will figure out if he's a future starter this year, even if he doesn't play much. I don't think the 49ers coaching staff were stunned by Purdy's success. They knew early that he was special and didn't flip out when the injuries began. I think the Vikings will know early too. If he's a stud, they won't worry about an early QB next year. If he's not, then they might use an early draft pick next year (if they decide not to extend Cousins, which is still possible).

Kansas City traded a late 1, late 2 and next years 1 for the #10 pick to take Mahomes...

If the #3 or #4 QB is on the board around then. I would be in favor of the Vikings going up to get "their guy". 2024 could be a DEEP QB class

Agree. Just don't take Ewers. I am so not impressed with him.

This guy supposedly has the Vikings schedule. Here is the date if you wanted to go watch them play in Vegas. His Twitter account is also releasing some other tidbits on the schedule.

Gotta love week 2 in Philly two years in a row.
I do like that we get an extra few days to prepare for the Chargers the week following though. Also, that defense will be really young at that stage of the year. Would rather face them early than late.

Two things you can always seem to count on: Away games in Philly and Pittsburgh.

Glad to face Bryce young early too.

In Minnesota Viking history, the Steelers have not played in Minnesota very much. Minnesota has played in Pittsburgh far more often.
