It's ridiculous baseball continues these huge contracts. They never pay off. He needs to stick to one thing. Doing both is just asking for major injury issues which he has already had in the recent past.

Getting real tired of the Dodgers. Might as well have them and the Yankees play each other and let the rest of us have fun.
I know, then why is it every player go to them? Just tired of 2 teams buying all the players while the rest are playing a different game.

Also, MLB ownership is mostly garbage with too many teams that don't spend enough to stay competitive.
They did a lottery for the first 6 picks this year, first time with lottery. Reds moved up quite a bit.

They need a salary floor more than anything. I hate cheap owners. Some teams don’t even care if they are competitive or not.
Baseball desperately needs a salary cap and floor but it’ll never happen.
Wants to win (allows team to get more/keep players) and makes enough off the field that he can afford to do it.

I'm a Dodger hater but I have no issue with this. Just means one more superstar can be added to their roster, but they're also going to be losing $46 MM to the CBT once Ohtani leaves, which tells me they should be unreal the next 10 years, but probably really struggling the following 10.
