2022/23 Coaching Staff Changes

IMO you go with whom Campbell wants. His ass is on the line.

As far as Kempt and Jeff Myers. Because Myers did not work out then Kempt must not be promoted? Stupid reasoning. Individual results vary.
lol stop with this nonsense. Campbell’s ass is not on the line, but he does know and understand changes need to be made, obviously

Jeez, did I say Kempt must not be promoted? No, I said that going from a GA to a position coach is quite a promotion and I hope it works out better for Kempt than it did for Meyers because I really like him. Calm down.
Didn’t every position coach go from GA to position coach?

Kempt going from GA to QB coach? I'm a big Kempt fan, but that's quite a promotion. Similar to the promotion Meyer was given. I hope it works out much better for Kempt because I really like him.
He supposedly was an analyst. If you watched games he was the one on the field instructing the qb coming off the field, not Gordon who must have been in the booth.
I'm sure he will suffer with some OJT as everyone should do throughout their lives.

I keep getting this confused but I don’t think an analyst can be down on the field. Or maybe that wasn’t his exact title.

It worked out from going to never playing a power 5 game to beating a top 5 team on the road.

If next year resembles this last year, it most certainly is.

My word, have some expectations.
Everyone does have expectations here they are:

2023:
Offense: New OC, new system (even though the plays are the same), give it three seasons to develop.
O-Line: New offense, new blocking scheme, new SC coach, give it three seasons to develop.
Special Teams: They're fine, that's why there has been no change.

Record: 3-9 or better and patience prevails to next season. 7-6 or better we need to extend that contract!

Wrong. There’s a difference between “his ass is on the line” and “have some expectations.” He’s shown he can win here (which has never been done before) and will do so more in the future.

It’s asinine that some of you fans think going 4-8, replacing 15+ starters with guys who have never played before, means a coaches ass is on the chopping block. We’ll be back to a bowl game next year and once the covid year is gone and the roster is more balanced out we’ll be just fine

I love how people compare ISU's current situation to the past, when ISU has never been so competitive in revenue sharing and facilities.

If CMC can't win 3 conference games next year, his seat should be flaming hot.

The last 2 years were both tremendous letdowns.
