2022/23 Coaching Staff Changes

Everyone else hearing Joel Gordon is out?

Scheelhaase keeping the WR's
Jake Waters moving to RB's - He recruited Harris Jr, who committed last week
Kyle Kempt to QB coach

A LOT of youth on the offensive coaching tree if that is all true. Not hearing anything for names on the o-line
Someone posted similar in "Scheelhaase oc" thread.

He should be. Dekkers was here 3 years as the known or thought of replacemeny for Purdy and he didnt even know how to read a defense. Purdy was the same dude he always was here. Dont even get me started on how guys like Noland and Mitchell turned out either

Am I the only one that thinks are program should be on a higher plain where we hire experienced assistants instead of promoting grad assistants to $200-$300K jobs.

I like Kempt and Waters, but I look at how it didn't work with the OL coach.

At least Waters has experience in other programs.
It's Campbell, he likes to promote for consistency quite often.

Hopefully it means apending more $$ for a proven Oline coach

Maybe because having someone listed as working with special teams is irrelevant, every team obviously a coach or coaches working on special teams, regardless of if they have a "special teams coordinator" or not.

Now maybe we do need new people working on special teams, but it's not like we haven't had coaches running special teams just because nobody is listed as a coordinator.

I've been saying that all along

I honestly don't care what the official titles are I just hope whatever they do next year is different than what they have been doing. If I'm Matt I give some one the ST Coordinator title just to shut people up.
A special teams coordinator who's serious about ST would have yanked Noel off PR pretty quickly last year, just my two cents.

Are we running a charity for ex Mount Union players or a team that competes for championships?
I would be willing to guess that you haven't researched former Mount Union players that are now coaches...other than CMC, Alex Grinch, Nick Sirianni(Coach of the Eagles-figured i should explain since you dont know how to use google), Dom Capers, etc.
