I'm guessing Flip is getting paid he can take some taunting. Hell for a long time you got heckled and not paid.Upon reviewing the replays, the Wake fan appears to see Flip and taunts him. Flip sees the fan taunting him and appears to give him a shove. In doing so, the fan runs into Flip’s leg.
I believe the fan intentionally taunted Flip, and Flip intentionally responded with a a two-hand shove. I don’t think Flip intentionally tried to trip the fan by extending his leg.
At the end of the day, the schools are responsible for implementing systems to protect players. If the schools fail to implement such systems, they should be fined or held accountable in some other manner, IMO.
Not when no precautions are in placeA normal human being can do both.
Agree with this, it’s almost as if he stuck his leg out further than normal to trip the fan.after watching the video from the overhead cam I feel even less bad for the Duke player.
Murph and Pandy will team up and get it bannedInsert “sweep the leg” gif!!
Pretty sure Murph is headed to the NCAA offices right now to try and get court storming banned. Will use all the camera angle videos and Clark interviews he has for evidence. Pretty sure he will break down in tears telling the story about OSU purposely trying to hurt the greatest basketball player the world has ever seen and how it almost could have ended her career.
Sometimes known as walking.Agree with this, it’s almost as if he stuck his leg out further than normal to trip the fan.
Which he could’ve stopped doing to let the kid go by….. I think ultimately they both have some blame in the situation.Sometimes known as walking.
Which is made clear from this shot from the end of the game. With time still on the clock there are Wake students running onto the court, with some nearly to the free throw line. Not when no precautions are in place
So he waits for everyone to go by or just that one kid? They were at the free throw line before time was even up, any players stuck on the court just wait until it's over?Which he could’ve stopped doing to let the kid go by….. I think ultimately they both have some blame in the situation.
Wonder what the ultimate diagnosis is for his ankle (was it ankle or knee or what?)?
Or the student could have not run at the player to try and get in his face?Which he could’ve stopped doing to let the kid go by….. I think ultimately they both have some blame in the situation.

The guy running by, filming for his next Tik Tok, had no clue what he was doing and what he would run into.Which he could’ve stopped doing to let the kid go by….. I think ultimately they both have some blame in the situation.

No - but he doesn’t need to take a step right at a kid that’s running if he sees a kid running somewhat at/in front of him does he? He’s looking at the direction of the kid the entire time. Again, I don’t think it’s one parties fault (and agree with the points that have been made that WF should have done some better work at keeping them back). So he waits for everyone to go by or just that one kid? Read my post , I said both were likely to blame….?Or the student could have not run at the player to try and get in his face?
Yes, of course the fan taunted Flip. Wouldn't you?Upon reviewing the replays, the Wake fan appears to see Flip and taunts him. Flip sees the fan taunting him and appears to give him a shove. In doing so, the fan runs into Flip’s leg.

If you are driving through an intersection with a green light, and someone coming from the left blows through the red but you saw them, it's now your fault they hit you because you should have stopped. No - but he doesn’t need to take a step right at a kid that’s running if he sees a kid running somewhat at/in front of him does he? He's walking to his bench, no?No - but he doesn’t need to take a step right at a kid that’s running if he sees a kid running somewhat at/in front of him does he? He can avoid contact no?He's walking to his bench, no?
I don't see how the player is to blame. He is on the court, where he is supposed to be. The game ends and he makes his way towards his bench. He should be allowed to walk without expecting a random person to run through him.Read my post , I said both were likely to blame…
