A CR radio station picked up ISU broadcasts like 25 years ago after some efforts of cyclone fans in the area. They got complaint calls every week from insecure Hawkeye fans who didn't like the disloyal exposure. Sponsors grew tired of the complaining, despite our efforts to keep them on board. This has been a thing ever since Hayden Fry arrived. It's a dumb ******* cult.

I had an Iowa fan on KM’s page tell me they couldn’t believe I’d watch TNF over the Iowa women’s game. I pointed out I’ve never really been able to watch women’s basket. He continues to argue with me to convince me I’m ridiculous to think nfl football was more of a draw than their goat. Iowa has the goat in punting and women’s basketball…and men’s basketball now too evidently. There’s a bunch of goats at Iowa I’m happy for them

Not that I remember. Shoot Stinson played for a long time in Des Moines and very little coverage other than the regular game coverage.
