Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

Seeing some wishlists on here. The list should absolutely be Colorado, Arizona, Oregon and Washington. Colorado is the least desirable of those four, but you don’t need ASU and Utah really in any case unless they were willing to be Colorado and be the first to jump.

Will have to see if the PAC now scrambles and puts a $$ figure out there in a desperation move to get CU to stay.
I feel like not having the number last week was the final straw. If it is close, they might have stayed had it been for media day. But at this point it's too late. It'd have to be a miraculously high number. And if they had that we wouldn't be here.

Scheer just said on the 365 Radio show that he doesn't know for sure who it is (very good source wouldn't tell him exact school) but if he were to guess he would say it is Oregon.

That could make sense based on Oregon not quite the academic reputation of other Pac10 schools and not the media market as Seattle or Bay Area that Stanford would bring. Media Markets still big for BTN.

Just saw the news. Has anyone checked in on GK, Canzano, and Mandel? Lol

Let’s be real, they’re going to spin it as the Big 12 is destroying college football when we have been in survival mode for the last 13 years.

It sounds like the Big 12 will have its pick from multiple P5 applicants, a nice change for once.

With the non 4 corner school tidbit, it really makes you look at the B1G and think which 2 of the below teams the B1G would be most interested in, why, and if they told the others they are not making it.
Oregon
Washington
Stanford
Cal

With what the B1G looks for, what fits them the best with their media deal, what works best for USCLA, and what would be a possible move to further entice ND some things stand out.

Of this list Oregon may be the least desirable for the B1G.

Washington, better academics, solid athletics, Better media Market

Stanford, elite academics, solid overall athletics, especially beyond football, and ND rival. Media market

Cal, elite academics, marginal athletics, but also appeases California BOR, with UCLA. Media market

Oregon, great Football, lots of support and fans, but overall looking at the others is not in the same league beyond football. Academics not near the others, and on the bubble of losing AAU.

Most think Oregon is the best of this list, but for the B1G, they might not be.

Personally I think Oregon, may be that other school, Stan and Cal would not come to the B12 unless it was absolute last resort. And both are a better partner with Washington, UCLA and USC. Ultimately I think the B1G would only take one of Stan or Cal, at this point.

Relax, I just feel bad for them as opposed to Washington/Oregon much less Stanford/Cal

You are a much better person than I my man.

The amount of **** the members of that conference talked and continue to talk about us and our "truck stop conference" is making this incredibly enjoyable.
