Tim Brando, from Fox Sports, just said on 365 that if Colorado leaves for the Big 12- Utah would likely not be too far behind. And that both of the Arizona schools would not be too far behind after.

That said, I think it’s one thing at a time here. Colorado still has to make it official first. Plus there are the rumors Scheer heard about a non-four corner school from the PAC-12.Tim Brando, from Fox Sports, just said on 365 that if Colorado leaves for the Big 12- Utah would likely not be too far behind. I disagree, they’ve been thinking about this for a year now. That said, I think it’s one thing at a time here. Colorado still has to make it official first. Plus there are the rumors Scheer heard about a non-four corner school from the PAC-12.
I just think there’s too much fluidity right now to understand what’s legitimate vs what’s not. People said dominos would fall fast, but I have a hard time seeing 4 or 5 PAC-12 teams coming to the Big 12 in quick succession.
Brando strikes me as the type to speculate rather than give original scoops. That said, I think it’s one thing at a time here. Colorado still has to make it official first. Plus there are the rumors Scheer heard about a non-four corner school from the PAC-12.

If Oregon (or Washington, Stanford, or Cal) go to the Big 12 with Colorado and the Big 12 decides to stay at 14 to see what happens with the ACC, Arizona, ASU, & Utah will have really misplayed this all.

I can see UA coming to complete the pair, or maybe even a non-four corner.I disagree, they’ve been thinking about this for a year now.
What if, devils advocate, CU is doing this as a smokescreen to put pressure on P12 to present a number? I’m doubtful it’d be higher than the B12 but it just seems weird that they would move without seeing a number. Writing is on the wall tho
ASU isn’t thinking about what to do if Arizona leaves? Okay.I can see UA coming to complete the pair, or maybe even a non-four corner.
But I just don’t know if Utah or Arizona State have been seriously thinking about this based on all accounts so far.
It’s still a bad look for the PAC and extremely bad if they announce something like 20MM.What if, devils advocate, CU is doing this as a smokescreen to put pressure on P12 to present a number? I’m doubtful it’d be higher than the B12 but it just seems weird that they would move without seeing a number. Writing is on the wall tho

Based on what Scheer reported, CU moved BECAUSE they didn't see any numbers. Kliavkoff f*cked around dragging things out without presenting schools with anything solid. Came back to bite him. What if, devils advocate, CU is doing this as a smokescreen to put pressure on P12 to present a number? If the Pac actually had a deal that was close to the Big 12 they would have presented it already. CO is coming. For sure. Nothing is confirmed until official announcements. I remember how much of a done deal the big 12 south teams to the PAC was back in the first big 12 missile crisis, until suddenly a deal came together to keep things together minus Colorado\Nebraska.
Agree. Cal would be a logical choice to bring access to Bay Area.I don't think so. Scheer said the school was contemplating it. I think if Oregon St was thrown a life line they would grab it immediately, no thought necessary.
