Montgomery was about the last time that school showed a pulse.Side-note that I find interesting, if Cal does hire Madsen.
Madsen played at Stanford when Mike Montgomery was head coach. Montgomery left Stanford to coach in NBA for a few seasons, then returned to CBB as Cal's head coach.
