Thanks!

Could you imagine ISU having 80% attendance or worse if there were 5 straight years of nothing below Sweet 16, including 3 regular season conference titles?

I wouldn't expect enthusiasm for NIT to be high, especially two straight seasons ... but if attendance is that bad with high-end performance ... wow.

Absolutely. And while yes, Eugene isn't the most populated part of Oregon being a couple hours outside Portland, the Eugene metro is still just a bit under 400k. Getting 10+k average attendance should be easy with a city that size.

What else is there to do in Eugene on a Tuesday night. Just more PAC 10 apathy. It might help if they got rid of that horrible basketball court with the trees and other weird graphics. Like Boise State’s blue field, it’s hard to watch on TV.

It’s also the NIT lol.

$19 mil buyout if Oregon let's him go. Dana wants that paper.
Based on Altman's statements, sounds like he's telling big time schools with open jobs that he's willing to move on.

That's a big buyout, but Altman will make at least his Oregon annual salary at his next stop.

Who knows, maybe he doesn't want to be the last man standing in a Pac12 without UCLA, USC and potentially Arizona. It could get to point where Pac12 becomes a 1 bid league.

Matt Lottich is out at Valpo.

Depending on what their investment looks like that could be a spot where Kyle Green might be interested. It's the worst job in the Valley but it's still a Valley job.
Honest question, would that HC job pay more than assistant at ISU?

Worse than Evansville or UIC?
Way worse. Worst facilities, constant budget cuts. A university that is literally selling pieces of it's art collection to keep the doors open and closed it's law school a few years ago.

Evansville has a top half Valley budget and plays in the nicest arena in the league (city owned) they just haven't made great choices though the new guy might be okay. UIC is building a new arena and has a competitive budget.
