Wait, Larry was drinking whiskey or vodka while the game was going on? I honestly hadn’t heard that.

Not too young to remember Larry. Although maybe too young to recall the hanging out in front yard. Larry had his flaws and most Cyclone fans today would tell you that. I don't see many hawk fans owning up to Frans more shameful moments

We also fired the last 2 coaches who liked to have tirades on the sidelines, granted not specifically for that reason.

Couldn't agree more. Prohm didn't work out on the court but I also respected his integrity and how much he wanted his guys to succeed as young men. He proved it when he benched McKay...could have easily played him and picked up a couple more wins but he had to stick to his principles.

EIU pushing to get a commitment from a 6’ PG Beating out CSU, Drake and Loyola. Sure he’s underrated or we’ll be told as much…
Gotta give Fran credit though his recruiting is 100% on brand.

6 foot 155 lb white PG without a P6 offer.. I mean you look at his profile and Iowa sticks out like a sore thumb because there are like 12 low major teams on there.

Because the kid was a Hawkeye at birth. Doesn’t matter if he just happens to be a top 50 player or top 150. It’s exactly the kid Fran goes after and it’s hilarious. Hawkeye fans and offspring is what makes up Iowa Basketball

MadFran worked HARD for this player. Probably flew the 50 miles,...harsh.

Plus,.....CHECKS ALL THE BOXES!!!

That’s what I thought. Really solid recruit. Was just confused where the Top 50 comment was coming from. Who knows, maybe he can become a Top 50 recruit at some point.
