Per 247, offers from ISU, Baylor, Minnesota, and Wisconsin so far. Gut tells me it will not come down to Fran v TJ.

Fran really is a gem for ISU fans. Knows how to take legacy recruits and win enough meaningless games (and once in awhile a big win) to keep his job. Then always finds a way to steal defeat from the jaws of victory in the tourney. On top of that his demeanor and attitude or just awful which is a great representation of EIU. They PAY him to act that way.
Geographically for Fran the B1G competition has been somewhat bad during his tenure too minus Purdue and Sconnie. Underwood has given IL some sign of life but by and large them, NW, Minny, and Nebraska have been bad.
It is the brand they have embraced, and while puzzling that they've chosen to embrace that, it is very amusing from the outside looking in. I would hate to be a fan of that, though. They say loyal sons forever true, but if ISU had a coach that carried himself the way Fran does, with those antics, it'd be a tough sell for me. This fan base basically crucified Steve Prohm who had a much better demeanor and ability to compose himself than Fran. We also fired the last 2 coaches who liked to have tirades on the sidelines, granted not specifically for that reason.
Fran chased an official down a tunnel, cursed him out, and questioned his integrity. That's cringe.
Oh I totally agree. The point I was attempting to make in my rambling post is that I'd like to think ISU fans wouldn't stand by a coach like Fran. Simply because we've refused to stand with coaches who were a lot less difficult to like.
Their still dealing with the Lickliter shell shock and will gladly take mediocrity over the low of that era.
You must be too young to remember the whole Larry Eustachy saga. Students and fans showing support to Larry by hanging out on his front yard. Wanting him to stay as coach even though he's been partying with students, drinking on the sidelines, and belittling some players.
