You guys..... ok.... lolUpsets happen. Oregon over Iowa last year was no upset. That was a manhandling from start to finish.

Would actually take a 7 or 10 in a heartbeat too.Yeah I agree I do not want an 8/9 seed.
fair, just when pointing out upsets or loses. ISU fans should think about glass housesFran's NCAA record waves back.
We lost some of our athleticism with newest rotation and lineup. I do not think it will help us down the stretch and think we will be firmly on the bubble Selection Sunday. Hope I'm wrong but moving Bohannon to the 1 spot and cutting Toussaints minutes by 2/3rds seems like a backwards moveWe are more athletic this year and if we face a team that cannot get out in transition with us it could be a huge benefit. We really struggle at rebounding still but the Murray brothers are doing a good job there.
Is that even a point you need to make. Every team gets upset and/or loses. What happened to Iowa last year was neither.fair, just when pointing out upsets or loses. ISU fans should think about glass houses
JBo as a 1 is a bad idea. To me, he's a fine spot up 2. I'm not going to get into the defense because we all know about it, but his bread and butter should be an end of career Mike Miller type role.We lost some of our athleticism with newest rotation and lineup. Iowa lost to Oregon by one point?UAB and Hampton say hi........
I agree. You can vary his minutes by how he's shooting but to play him 30 minutes regardless and taking Toussaint out will really be a problem against tougher competition. If we get in the NCAA the bar will be 1 win for this team barring an upset in the other game. I can't see this team being able to beat elite teams like I could of maybe seen in the 19 20 teamJBo as a 1 is a bad idea. To me, he's a fine spot up 2. Sometimes teams with high expectations nad accolades fail to live up to those expectations...... you all know that though right?Iowa lost to Oregon by one point?
Why, so Fran could be splitting 40 minutes between Patrick and Joe W? Or 40 min between Jorbo, CJ, and Perkins? Where does Nunge fit in with Kris Murray and the ND transfer lighting it up on occasion? And Wieskamp, CJ and a healthy Nunge.
Every single team for every sport has that. It’s no doubt fun to bring up to throw shade at a rival though.Sometimes teams with high expectations nad accolades fail to live up to those expectations...... you all know that though right?

Every team gets upset at times, but there seems to be one team that appears to never match their expectations. Is that even a point you need to make. Every team gets upset and/or loses. What happened to Iowa last year was neither.
I think they overachieved last year relative to their guard play.Every team gets upset at times, but there seems to be one team that appears to never match their expectations.

Oregon was possibly the worst matchup possible in round 2. Something I said on this forum before selections even occurred. Oregon had a posistionless team with all quick guys. About our opposite. The bye didn't help and also Fran of course trying to outscore them. It's hard to break habit but we needed to play a methodical style throwing it into garza litterally every time down and hoping their starters accumulated fouls and broke some of their tempo.I think Oregon was a really terrible matchup for Iowa. Iowa had a good team last year that was capable of a run if they drew certain teams. Oregon was not one of those teams and it also didn't help when they didn't have to play their first game too.
Your first mistake was thinking Fran would put a new plan together. It seems like he just goes beserk and blows up any plan by the first TV timeout.Oregon was possibly the worst matchup possible in round 2.
