I wouldn’t be surprised if Iowa moves up a few spots if they lose to Ohio State tomorrow.
I think it does make a difference on scoring margins and also home vs away. So Kansas getting blown out at home and then beating you guys on your home floor probably does get taken into account some. Kansas missing their best player probably had no bearing on it though.
Of our current 6 Q1 wins, Iowa is the closest to falling to Q2. They are 7 spots from Q2. All others are 11+ spots. We have 2 Q2 games. TCU needs to move 10 spots and Memphis 21. I don't see either sneaking into Q1 territory.
With 5 Q1 games left (all road), I hope we can sneak at least one, dare I hope two of @KSU, @TCU and @WVU.

All I know is the NET is dumb. It will be interesting to see how close it is to seeding or if they do a lot of adjusting.
For the record, I have zero problem with us moving down 3 spots for losing at home. I scratch my head at Iowa losing at a poor Penn State and only moving 1 spot.
Close road loss is all I can figure. I think PSU is a quad 2 loss on the road. Would have been quad 3 at home

Iowa 15-7 Net #22 It'd be nice to sweep @Maryland and Nebraska.....
ISU 16-7 Net #31 @WVU and KSU.....a split keeps them on track, win both and things are looking good
Drake 15-7 Net #93....need to win MVC tourney....loss to UNI hurt
UNI 12-9 nET #110....need to win MVC tourney
Well, NET continues to like Iowa more than it probably should (IMO) and not like ISU as much as it should. It's not the end all be all and I think ISU's OOC resume gives it a boost when the committee really breaks down the schedule. That said I think ISU probably needs to get to 7-11 in the conference to feel comfortable. I'm sticking to 10-10 for the Hawks.

It'll be interesting to see if tOSU game is rescheduled, unless you've heard already.
They're still working on it....just hope they don't throw it into the last week of the regular season...

Throwing into last week would be tough with tourneys days later. That's a lot of wear on the body.
One seemingly minor thing that I wouldn't like with Iowa States schedule is they keep following Texas Tech's opponents. Tech plays a very similar style its almost perfect preparation for Iowa State
I think our NET is about where it should be right now. I just want to pick up a few wins and make the tourney. Will accept a first round exit at this point.
I would hate to be on Tech's bracket side in the NCAA. Play some of the best defense I've ever seen, and decent offense.
