Was the worst in 60% of the events and bottom 15% in the others... Expectations are pretty low over their in IC for Fran and the round of 32ers
Garza makes hay beating his guy down the floor (slowest at the combine), being bigger than almost everyone he plays (Average NBA size) and playing in a slow, half court offense (Pace and space NBA).
Can't run the pick and roll
Can't defend the pick and roll
Can't rebound
Can't defend in transition
Can't score in transition
Can't protect the rim
Can't make plays off the bounce

Trying to sell the notion that Garza can do anything to transform himself physically to be able to do anything approaching NBA athleticism is the boldest of strategies. Leave it to the crack media team in Western Illinois to try the shill the unshillable.
But other than that…
The old adage is that to succeed in the NBA you either need to do one thing exceptionally, or everything really well. I just don’t see how posting up (not a highly valued skill these days) over smaller, weaker players is going to translate. He may get drafted, but I’d be a little surprised.

So competing in 5 drills with six other centers, Garza was 6th, 5th, 7th, 7th, 7th. IMPRESSIVE. He was not dead last in two of them.
Garza not playing him hurt him. That's been well talked about by experts. Really bad decision unless he was hurt and even then he should have said he was hurt so he had a reason
