That team best an average Iowa team by 3. ISU went 11-7 in conference play and the big 12 was not very good that year. Two big 12 schools made the sweet sixteen, none made it to the elite 8. *Big Ten had 3 teams in the elite 8 that year btw*That team won 28 games. Iowa's entering the tourney with 21 wins lmao
KenPom disagrees with you on the Big 12. That was year 1 of 7 straight for the Big 12 as the KP top conference. That team best an average Iowa team by 3. you need to look at a bracket sometime. 3 seeds dont play 1 seeds in the sweet 16.You don't want that 3 seed...bc you would face either Zags or Baylor in Sweet 16... Just sayin..wts..Iowa is likely a 2 seed bc the 4th place team in the Big ten with 8 losses should be a 2 seed...
I don’t even care if the call was wrong or not. A senior D1 PG sobbing on Twitter about it is straight up embarrassing, especially when the call was completely unimportant to the outcome
Big 10 is better at the top and the big 12 is worse at the bottomThese broadcasters are either biased or have an agenda. Big 12 has 7 ranked teams out of 10. B1G has 5 ranked teams out of 14. But yet all you hear on TV is B1G is best, is toughest, blah, blah, blah. Why?
Lol and this Iowa team lost to a below average Indiana team twice.. That ISU team had an All American in Kane. The big 12 POY in Ejim. And Georges Niang. That team best an average Iowa team by 3. Selection Show tonight is going to be awesome! I can't wait to see how much more triggered ISU fans can get in this thread when Iowa gets a #2 seed. With a #2 seed Fran will have officially passed Fred, Prohm and tied Eustacy as having the greatest regular season in the state of Iowa over the past 25 years.
They played better than the Oregon Hawkeyes did, that is for sure. But then the competition yesterday wasn't as good either.Wow, I see the Illinois Cyclones came up with a huge win yesterday over the Hawks. A question for ISU fans, does that win rival the Stanford Cyclone win over the Hawks in the Rose Bowl?
IF Iowa reaches the elite eight, that will be a true statement. If not, then no.Selection Show tonight is going to be awesome!
