Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

Yeah, the transfer game hasn’t changed a bit since Hoiberg was at ISU.

These trolls are so dense, or maybe just really stupid.

I love how you guys act like Fred just got great transfer because nobody else was competing for them. That is BS, Fred was a good recruiter of transfers, and is still getting good transfers at Nebraska (much higher caliber ones than Prohm is getting at ISU).

One thing that people aren’t taking into account on Jake Sullivan’s comments is that he is probably a little sour with the athletic department that Campbell never offered his son. The timing seems pretty obvious

LOL, he made those comments because any person with a set of eyes can see that Prohm has destroyed the ISU basketball program. He is spot on in his comments, and Sullivan has forgotten more about basketball than any of the poster on here will ever know about basketball.

Now I will say that he should just shut his piehole about the program. That doesn't help making those comments, it fractures your fan base and doesn't help the program in any way.

He hasn't been spot on with all of his comments.

I get where Jake is coming from, but disagree with needing to recruit Iowa guys to have a successful program. I think he mostly just wants guys who will buy into the program and have the urge to win and better the TEAM, rather than focus on bettering themselves for the next level without the team in mind. There does not appear to be any team chemistry.

Iowa kid's parents paid Jake A LOT of money to teach them basketball over the years. Those kids are now college aged. Not hard to figure out.
