That was always the worst take. Football in Texas is placed alongside God to them. If a team quit and didn’t play, the whole team, coaches, AD and Pres would be tarred and feathered.

Yeah, I’m not saying a Covid case couldn’t actually happen, but they’re sure as **** not going to create a fake one. And Ehlinger doesn’t seem like the kind of kid that’s just going to give up on the season, either.

That's the thing.... nearly everyone on here in nearly every game thread have gone into full meltdown mode.... but then afterwards (if we win).... will start making fun of people that never believed in the team and trusted them. It really is amusing. Totally hypocritical..... but amusing.

Ehlinger has more sway on getting the players to buy-in at this point. I think there will be an exodus of players over this next week that want to shutdown and focus on NFL draft or transferring out.

Sorry, I had to give this a "dumb" rating since I never said I care more about ISU than anyone else. If you said something truthful and accurate I wouldn't have had to give it a "dumb" rating.

Of course that also implies if someone isn't freaking out they don't care as much. And even if you claim otherwise that's exactly how you meant it. If the weirdness happens over the next two weeks, everyone can blame me. I was fairly apathetic about this season with other things being far more important, but then I noticed I had drank 3 beers during the last 5 game minutes Saturday when things tightened up.
